Philodendron scandens micans (Lime)

Often called “the sweetheart plant”, this one is great for newbie plant parents. A magnificent trailer, new growth emerges regularly in a bright shade of lime green.  Easy to grow, it requires medium to bright indirect light, but can also grow well under fluorescent light, making an ideal office plant. Keep soil moist, but not soggy,  in the growing season, cutting back a bit in the winter and letting the soil dry out completely between waterings. They also appreciate a gentle misting every so often.
