Marimo Moss Ball

Increasingly popular since seen on ‘Green Planet’, Marimos are the pet rock of the plant world. Give it a name, pop it in a little glass jar full of water and a few decorative stones then put it in a shady place. Look after it properly and it will grow and live up to 200 years! Once a day, give the jar a little swirl. That will keep it nice and round, but also thought to bring you good luck and prosperity. Change the water every 2-3 weeks. If your Marimo floats to the top of its jar, give it a squeeze to release some trapped air and it will sink back to the bottom.
