Waffle Cactus

Opuntia mircrodasys 'Cristata'

A relation to the "bunny ears cactus" this Opuntia has crested nopales (cactus 'leaves') that twist in different patterns. Give lots of sun and water very infrequently.  The spikes are not as sharp as most other cacti, with a soft, fuzzy feel. They can, however,  leave slight irritation if handled for prolonged periods.
